John Welkie, President and founder of J&T Technologies, Inc. for over a decade. Before developing J & T Technologies, Inc. John worked as an Environmental Director with over 20 years experience in the plating industry and water treatment systems, working for Westinghouse for many years.

J&T Technologies President John Welkie was instrumental in a prominent plating shop receiving the Governor's Award for Environmental Excellence. The implementation of pollution prevention measure at this shop resulted in a dramatic decrease of water usage and hazardous sludge generation. Wastewater from various rinse streams was reduced from 250,000 gallons per day to an average of 100.000 gallons per day.

This normally discharged water was redirected, reduced and reused. These measures helped to better our environment by reducing the amount of generated wastes.
